About Alan Rowe Barbering

Alan Rowe Barbering is a family run business, founded by Alan and Pauline. It has been a part of Honiton High Street for 34 years and counting now. Alan was barbering for over 53 years before retiring.

After Alan and Pauline retired, their daughter Jenny, who’s been with the shop for 24 years, took the helm. She continues to run the business, alongside her colleague Sally who’s been with us for over 30 years. Working together to continue the rich blend of proper old school traditional barbering, with the ever changing trends of today’s modern styles.

It’s not just about looking good, but feeling good too!

It’s important to us to provide quality services at affordable prices.

We have always prided ourselves on valuing our clients, not just so that we can continue to give them great haircuts, but because people matter.

We stand by the shops motto: “As much a community as a Barbershop”. Which is why we put back into the town as much as possible. Sponsoring local clubs and raising vital funds for charities which support those around us.

We love that we’re able to look after all your hair and beard needs. However we also offer a fantastic service with our in house Sports Therapist and Wellness Coach, Paula Ferris.

With over 30 years experience in the fitness industry, she covers a range of ailments. Ranging from muscular pain and tension, to job related posture issues and sports injuries. Or if you’re simply looking for a little “you time”, she also offers specialised sports massages to help ease the effects of the day!
