I’m Dudley Barnes, a Partner at Exeter-based Simon Hall Will Writing Services, offering Will writing, estate planning, and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) services, in Honiton and across South Somerset.
If you’re looking for a calm, clear, and supportive approach to getting your will sorted, I’d be delighted to help. I offer flexible appointments — whether you’d prefer to meet at home or online.
Why I Do What I Do
Around 15 years ago, my wife Lesley and I made the decision to get our Wills written. We wanted to protect our children, our estate and make things easier for our family. A friendly advisor visited us at home and guided us through the process with care, warmth, and professionalism.
I remember thinking: “One day, I’d like to do that job.”
It really stuck with me — because that mix of empathy and professionalism is how I’ve always approached my work in client-facing roles. Fast forward a few years, and here I am, a Partner at Simon Hall, helping people just like that advisor helped us.
I assist people across Honiton and South Somerset to organise their affairs in a way that’s easy to understand, never rushed, and focused on what matters most to them.
Do get in touch – we can sort this important matter together, then you can get on with living your life!
