Heart Felt Trauma Therapy CIC is a specialist trauma therapy service dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families understand and heal from the lasting impact of emotional trauma. Based on a deeply compassionate and evidence-informed approach, we work with both recent and historic experiences of trauma, supporting people to move beyond survival and towards meaningful, lasting change. At the heart of our work is a unique therapeutic model known as Felt Trauma Therapy®.
This approach focuses not just on what has happened to someone, but on how those experiences were felt and internalised—often shaping beliefs about safety, self-worth, relationships, and identity. Many people find themselves feeling “stuck,” overwhelmed, or repeating patterns they don’t fully understand.
Our work helps uncover the emotional roots of these patterns, creating clarity and a pathway forward. We provide a wide range of therapeutic services tailored to individual needs. This includes one-to-one therapy for adults and young people, couples therapy to support healthier relationship dynamics, and family-based interventions that help rebuild communication and connection.
Our work with children and young people is particularly valued, offering safe, creative, and age-appropriate ways to process experiences and develop emotional resilience. In addition to direct therapy, we also deliver group programmes and therapeutic workshops, creating spaces where people can connect, learn, and grow alongside others with shared experiences. These environments can be incredibly powerful in reducing isolation and building confidence.

Our setting has been thoughtfully designed to feel calm, safe, and welcoming—providing a therapeutic space where clients feel comfortable to explore difficult emotions at their own pace. We understand that seeking support can feel daunting, and we place great importance on creating an environment where people feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Heart Felt Trauma Therapy CIC exists to put people before profit. Any income generated is reinvested into delivering high-quality support and extending access to those who may otherwise struggle to receive it. Our mission is to make effective, compassionate trauma therapy more accessible within our community.
Alongside our therapeutic services, we also offer professional training through our Introduction to Felt Trauma Therapy® workshops. These are designed for practitioners, educators, and organisations who want to deepen their understanding of trauma and enhance their ability to respond effectively to the people they support. Whether someone is seeking support for themselves, their child, or their relationship, our aim is to provide a clear, supportive, and effective pathway towards healing.
We believe that with the right understanding and support, people can move beyond the impact of trauma and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. To ensure every individual receives the most appropriate and effective support, we operate on an appointment-only basis. We kindly ask that all enquiries are made via our website or by telephone in the first instance, rather than visiting in person.
Following an initial enquiry, we will arrange a confidential assessment conversation to understand your needs, explore what feels most comfortable for you, and consider the best way forward. This allows us to tailor our approach and ensure that the support offered is aligned with your individual circumstances, preferences, and pace. We believe that therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and responsive—starting from the very first point of contact.
