Students and staff at Honiton Community College (HCC) are preparing for a remarkable endurance event to raise funds for motor neuron disease (MND) research.
From 1st April 2026, the HCC team will cycle 2,000 kilometres in 24 hours on indoor gym bikes — matching the distance between all ten Premiership Rugby clubs.
The challenge supports the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, honouring rugby legend Doddie Weir and helping fund vital MND research. Riders will take turns to keep the wheels spinning through the night.
Donations can be made via the Just Giving page.
The current amount raised is over £1,750.
